Drilling Fluid Degasser
Xi'an HL Drilling Fluid Degasser is a new type of special equipment for processing gas-immersed drilling fluids developed by our company based on reference to various oilfield drilling degassers at home and abroad. It is suitable for supporting various mud purification systems, and plays an important role in restoring the specific gravity of the mud, stabilizing the viscosity performance of the mud, and reducing drilling costs. At the same time, it can also be used as a high-power agitator.

Operation Principle
This degasser belongs to a kind of vacuum. One which uses the suction of the vacuum pump to establish an under balanced pressure area in the vacuum cylinder and causes the drilling fluid into the hollow shaft of the rotator through suction pipe under the atmosphere pressure, and then lets the fluid spray to the walls of the cylinder from the windows on the hollow shaft, now the gas bubble cut in the mud may break and run off in the function of vacuum pump suction to a safe area due to the fluid collision and bubble separator. However, the mud will enter the drainage cavity forced by its self-weight and pass the rotator and discharge off the cylinder. In addition, drilling mud can enter the pump cylinder only through the suction pipe, and can’t be sucked in through the discharge pipe because the vacuum pump and the master motor are started simultaneously and the rotator connected to the motor will revolve at a high relolution speed too.

(1) Use the suction of the vacuum pump to make mud enter the vacuum cylinder and have gas discharged out of the cylinder. The vacuum pump here acts as two different roles.
(2) Water ring vacuum pump always remains isothermal state in operation and it is safe, reliable and fit for inflammable and explosive gas suction.
(3) Mud fast spraying to the always of the cylinder through rotator windows makes gas bubbles in the mud break completely, the degassing efficiency is relatively satisfactory.
(4) Master motor is biased and the entire device’s center of gravity is quite low.
(5) Belt transmitting avoids the complexity of the reducer mechanism.
(6) Gas-water separator will not cause water and gas to discharge off simultaneously which makes the gas outlet pipe always smooth.
(7) Suction pipe deeps into a mud tank can act as a heavy-power agitator.
