Baylor Elmagco Eddy Current 6032 Brake
Baylor Elmagco Eddy Current 6032 Brake. Rebuild includes:
Disassemble all brake components. Clean and sandblast components. Inspect components for proper fits- center plate bearing fits, ring plate, bearing caps, inner seal retainers, bearings spacers, shaft, etc. Magnets I.D. seal weld are cut. Magnets are separated, the middle section is placed in a boring mill and the four sealed plate covers are removed. Existing coils are removed. Magnets are built up and machined to achieve the proper air gap. Four new coils (coils-no. 11 Heavy Allex coated wire) are installed and the four seal plate covers are seal welded in place. Pipe fittings are seal welded to the covers. The coil cavity is pressured tested for leaks. Magnet covers are fitted and sealed welded. Build up rotor and machine. Rotor is balanced. Brake components are primed. The brake is reassembled with new bearings and seals. Explosion-proof breather vents are replaced. Install new EYS fittings (Chico filled) in conduit piping to J-Box. The air gap is checked. Measure coils electrically, Coil Winding Resistance, Insulation Resistance to Ground, and Polarity Test Coils. Topcoat paint. Furnish Final Inspection Reports.
